Towards the Development of a Common Platform for Pharmacists and Medicine Companies
(https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9689886)

The accessibility to the modern health system is not prevalent in a developing country like Bangladesh. This paper aims to create an interface between pharmacists and medicine companies by building a common platform to address this limitation. We have developed an android mobile application where pharmacists can order medications from medicine companies. The pharmacists and medicine companies can register their business (Medicine Company) with this android application (app). Both users have to login to the system using their phone numbers and password. The system must verify whether the user is a pharmacist or a medicine company. If the pharmacist or the medicine company is already a member of this application, they access the application by logging in with their mobile number and password. They must complete the signup form as a first-time user of the application at first entry. To build an account, pharmacists and medicine companies can use their mobile numbers once. After completing the registration process, the medicine companies can add their medication to the database. The pharmacist can see several shops with different types of drugs in his or her window. He or she can order medicines and make payments through the payment gateway system of the application. This android application (app) offers a faster way to order medication in remote areas. It adds a new era to the medicine business for the pharmacists and medicine companies to help the needy people of our country like Bangladesh.

Development of a Smart Automatic Gas Leakage Detector and Alarming System
(https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9623207)

In comparison to firewood and charcoal, LPG is widely used as a source of fuel, mainly in urban regions. Due to the extremely combustible nature of the gas, there is always the risk of gas leakage as a consequence of carelessness or failure of the regulating valve on the gas cylinder, which poses a significant risk. Gas-related fires are on the rise, which may be prevented by utilizing a gas leakage detection system, necessitating the creation of a microcontroller-based cooking gas detector. The use of a microcontroller allows for the creation of a highly precise and quick reaction time detecting system. The detector includes a MQ-6 LPG gas sensor, a PIC16F690 microcontroller, an LCD, a buzzer, and a number of LEDs to learn about the gas leak's condition. When a voltage signal is present from the MQ-6 sensor exceeds a specific threshold, the microcontroller detects the presence of a gas and sends an audiovisual alert. All peripherals are linked to the microcontroller through its pins, which are coded in the PIC assembly language. When the system was turned on, the microcontroller turned on a green LED to indicate that there was no gas leakage. A digital multimeter is used to monitor the sensor voltage signal when LPG gas is discharged. Whenever the voltage is less than 2.0V, the green light remains illuminated; when the voltage is more than 2.0V, the microcontroller blinks a red LED and sounds an alarm to indicate the presence of a gas. The alert can be recognized by pressing a button on the sensor. When the system was turned on, the microcontroller turned on a green LED to indicate that there was no gas leakage. Development of Smart Height Measuring Scale
(https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9579637)

The system proposed here is a smart height measuring system. A smart height measuring system has been developed in this project. There are several methods used to measure human height. In this research, we develop a human height measurement scheme. In our scheme, we calculate the height with an Ultrasonic sensor. Two round-looking parts in the ultrasonic sensor are called the ultrasonic speakers. When a 40 kHz sound wave collides with a solid surface, it bounces back (echoes). The echo is detected by the other. We may estimate the distances between the sensor and the item by measuring the overall time it takes to complete this operation. It measures the height of a human more accurately (2 cm to 13 feet). We have an extra feature comparing to the existing market products and that is Mobile Application. We can easily take the measurements using the app.

It is an electronic device with hardware and software integrated. Although these devices already exist in many countries / regions of the world, they do not exist in Bangladesh. This system is cost effective and easy to use, which will be the first in Bangladesh.

Design of a Low-Cost Wearable Heart and Respiratory Rate Measurement Device Using an Arduino and Bluetooth Module
(https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9579536)

The respiratory rate (RR) as well as the heart rate (HR) are two of the main vital signs that show how well a person's body is performing. The heart rate is defined as the number of times a person's heart beats in one minute, whereas the respiratory rate is defined as the number of times a person breathes in one minute (breaths per minute). Measurement of heart rate and respiratory rate often indicates a person's health condition and may identify any cardiovascular or respiratory illness. Existing wearable health smart devices are expensive and are often inaccurate. The objective of this manuscript is to develop a cheap, high-accuracy wearable heart rate and respiration rate monitoring system. A photoplethysmography (PPG) based heart rate monitor, and chest motion-based respiratory rate monitor has been used here. For the PPG-based heart rate monitor, we designed an efficient and accurate heartbeat sensor circuit. For the respiratory rate monitor, we used the concept of chest motion during exhalation and inhalation of air during the breathing process to design a chest belt module to measure a person's breathing activity. The prototype of these measurement devices was then tested on multiple test volunteers for evaluating the system's performance at various conditions. The materials used for designing this system and its performance make the device a cost-effective and reliable alternative to existing wearable smart health devices. The amount of breath completed per 60 seconds is known as the respiratory rate. When an individual is steady, the rate is typically calculated by calculating the number of breaths taken in one minute and noting the amount of times the chest rises. Fever, sickness, and other medical conditions will cause you to breathe faster. In the current situation of COVID-19, it is very necessary to check the respiratory rate to check the patient's current health status. Therefore, our project will be helpful for the COVID patients also.

Development of a Mobile Application for Patient's Medical Record and History
(https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9454227)

It is difficult to keep track of one’s all medical records. When a person suddenly falls sick, he/she may not have his/her medical documents with him. Hence, we decided to develop a project which is a medical app for both android and iOS that will always give access to a user’s medical records and history. So that the user can effortlessly manage and share them between facilities. This is especially convenient when someone is seeing a specialist and managing a lot of documents. Users can store and update their vitals, medical reports, newly assigned medications basically the entire medical history that is needed to diagnose a patient. For building the app React-native and Firebase database is used as a cloud alongside Redux for store management of the app. Health passport is designed to be a universal patient engagement platform that improves care for the health and encourages the user to take a more active role in their medical life by not doing the same test again and again for different facilities and thus saving money. Overall, the app is a middleman between patients and healthcare providers. This can be very helpful in real emergencies. With proper implementation, it can play a very important role in a person’s medical life.

A Medical App based Automated Disease Predicting Doctor
(https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9418435)

Many people in developing and impoverished countries are not aware of diseases. They are not concerned about diseases as well as the treatment also. If a person does not treat his/her disease in the early period of time, the disease may turn into a worse scenario. Hence, this is very important to make them conscious. For this reason, an android application is developed and this application can be used to make them aware since android mobile phone has become very popular, affordable, and available nowadays. In the newly developed android application, some of the most common diseases in the developing countries are selected. The developed android app was automated and a person could easily find out if he/she has any of these disease probability. From the results, it is found that cholera, diarrhea, chikungunya, tuberculosis (TB), dengue, and lastly COVID-19 are the most frequent diseases in poor countries and therefore it has been included in the developed android application. Furthermore, the developed android applications has the ability to find out the probability to get affected by a disease. Checking out the disease probability, people would increase the concern about that disease and consult with a doctor at the early stage of that disease.
